Plissken Snake I'm torn on this one. If I listen to both albums, original and remastered in lossless format then I understand why they did this for some of the tracks (heights too sharp...etc.). But some of the original tracks are way better (more details, much more lively...). They cranked up the bass on the remaster but did loose some of the clearness and body in the mids and heights. This is more of a 'revisited' then a 'remaster'. I'm gonna make my own album from the best tracks of both of them!

Allu13 Brutally honest, it sounds inferior to the original.
I don't like the new guitar solos, the early fadeouts on notes, missing buildups etc as much.
Far from outright terrible but I was expecting more. Favorite track: Sunset (2023 Remastered).

also i have been to the concert in Göteborg Sweden two times, booth times you were there on odd times, play on a friday or a saturday, swedes are shy and mallow, and goes nuts on the weekend.

kn56k the tracks sound so clean now. there is a definite quality improvement overall. I still appreciate the original, and I feel some tracks for sure benefited from this remaster "The Deep" just sounds better in this version to me Favorite track: Robeast (2023 Remastered).

daisho88 I now have 3 versions of “The Deep”! (Demo, Original, and Remastered). As opposed to the other reviewers, I actually prefer the Remastered version over the Original, as I’m more into Rock than the atmospheric Synths. But each to their own. Favorite track: Robeast (2023 Remastered).

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
